  • 1922 - Chan Wing Wah, W.W. Chan (陈荣华) was born in Yun Long County in 1922. (云龙镇)
  • 1936 - W. W. Chan started apprenticeship at San Li tailors in 1936.
  • 1941 - W. W. Chan was enrolled in the first tailoring school in China in 1941.
  • 1943 - W. W. Chan was graduated with first honor from the tailoring school in Shanghai in 1943.
  • 1948 - W. W. Chan moved to Hong Kong and started making suits for foreign clients living in Hong Kong.
  • 1950 - W. W. Chan established a workshop in Wuhu Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong and started making suits and uniforms for Swire Group Taipans.
  • 1960 - W. W. Chan established the first store on Cameron Road, Kowloon Hong Kong in 1960.
  • 1965 - W. W. Chan relocated the store from Cameron Road to Nathan Road, Kowloon Hong Kong in 1965.
  • 1967 - W. W. Chan‘s son, Peter Chan, started apprenticeship in the shop.
  • 1982 - W. W. Chan retired and handed over company operations to Peter Chan in 1982.
  • 1986 - Mr. Patrick Chu joined us, WW Chan & Sons Tailor Ltd in 1986
  • 2002 - Chan opened its first shop in Shanghai in 2002.
  • 2003 - Mr. Patrick Chu was appointed to be the general manager for our Hong Kong shop in 2003.
  • 2004 - Mr. Arnold Wong joined us, WW Chan & Sons Tailor Ltd in 2004.
  • 2004 - Mr. Dik Lam joined us, WW Chan & Sons Tailor Ltd in 2004.
  • 2009 - Mr. Dik Lam was appointed to be one of our main cutter in 2009.
  • 2010 - Chan opened another branch in Portman Ritz Carlton Shanghai in 2010.
  • 2013 - Mr. Arnold Wong was appointed to be the manager for our Hong Kong shop in 2013.
  • 2013 - The Hong Kong Store moved to the Entertainment Building, Central.
  • 2016 - Chan opened its first shop in Cheng Du - Soft opening on 10th Oct 2016 & Grand opening on 10th Dec 2016.
  • 2017 - Chan Hong Kong shop launched into "Red Gang" label for Ready To Wear & Made To Order products.
